So last week we were able to establish some things on the phase called childhood (just in case you missed that you can go back and check before you read this one). Moving on, every stage in development is important as one Is bedrock to the other, as childhood is termed the foundational phase, the adolescence the transitional phase, and the Adulthood the Majority phase. Like i wrote last week the childhood phase is the phase of taking in. Here, you absorb anything that comes from your environment and people but as s child begins to advance to the transitional phase they begin to sustain a certain level of intelligence and the question of self-identity comes in. At this phase a teenager is not only concerned about the outward but also concerned about the inward, they begin to look within them and start to do some sieving and separation. Now guidance is very important in this phase because normally what is supposed to be established in this phase are the things that have been absorbed during childhood but because the world has advanced there are many other forces available to guide a child which is why an adolescent faces lot of conflict.

Profound!
