Imagine an empty plot of land that has just been purchased by a person, the sole aim of the one who purchased the land is going to be to make resource out of it by either reselling it at an higher price, use the land for farming or erect a building on it. If you have to erect a building, then they start from the foundation and continue till the building is done. Before the building is completed, it took effort, time, consistency and application of resources. In summary it took sacrifice. Now imagine your mind(at birth) as the empty plot of land that has been purchased.
If you can recollect from my post on learning, I explained learning as a relative permanent change that happens based on your experience, so it is such that what you engage your senses with becomes a permanent reality in you, meaning learning has occur. Learning is the gateway to your Mindsets. Remember as a baby you were born innocent without knowledge, and as you begin to emerge you learn alot of things that make you up. So your mindset is created based on the things you have learned over time. Remember you learn things through experiences and exposures, so we can as well agree that your mindset is created on things you have been consistently exposed to overtime.
