Learning II

Hello guys! Welcome back! So we proceed on attention today

So in my last post on attention I ended on the note that learning is not restricted to a classroom setting alone. In psychology there is something called conditioned learning and this happens when a person has been programmed to relate an event or an object to learning. So the perceived believe of a classroom to learning is because learning has been presented consistently in a classroom and what happens when an object or phenomenal is presented simultaneously with learning is that the brain conditions itself that: so when I see a classroom then learning is about to happen.

For example i have dogs at home and I have a particular plate I use to feed my dogs, the plates have a unique sound it makes so whenever my dogs begin to hear the sound of the plate they begin to salivate. They rejoice that food is coming! Even if they haven't visualised the food yet! They are excited because the sound of the plate has been associated with food for them consistently over time and they have learnt to associate the particular plate with food but the dog doesn't know that food is food and can be served in different kinds of plate that doesn't necessarily have the same sound like this particular plate. The same way learning has been presented to us consistently over the years in a classroom is the same way we have come to associate classroom with learning and at some point, our brains struggle with learning when it is not being done in a classroom😌.

I have studied that a classroom enhances learning. When your brain is conditioned to something learning it becomes easy because when you come into the environment, your brain shifts and adjusts itself to learning mode which in turn makes learning easy! But what happens when you don't have access to a classroom setting? Do you begin to struggle with learning?. Well you don't have to struggle with learning! All you have to do is to tell yourself;  Now that I am aware, a classroom is just a conditioned environment to enhance my learning. It is not a stable and the only place where I can learn. I can learn every and anywhere I find myself. With this your brain can start adjusting!

By next week I will be writing on the three stages of learning! See you next week!

  1. Hmmmmm. Learning can take place anywhere, anytime; it's just a matter of my configuration. Thank you, ma.

Have you tried speaking with someone with a very plain intention and they just take it overboard? Or you have tried asking for help ...
