Hello friends welcome to today's episode and trust your week has been productive.
Have you taken out time to understand the concept of learning? Or at least study how your learning process comes to be. You have noticed that you find it convenient to memorize things at a specific time or you studied that you get to memorize things more when you are in a particular state. You think learning happens in a classroom alone so anything outside the classroom, you can't learn anything. You just have a boxed perspective towards learning and since it's the power of the mind once it's not it then you can't deal! You are just about to learn probably the opposite of what you know about learning.
Firstly learning Is not memorising a full textbook or a material. There is a big difference between passing an exam and learning; meaning that you have passed an exam doesn't mean you have learned, learning is not a thing that needs you to mature or get to a specific age before it starts happening. Learning is not a thing that is restricted to a particular location e.g classroom now let's quit what learning is not and talk about what learning is.
Well! Learning is a relatively permanent change that happens/occurs through experiences. Now that's much like I guess let me break it down. First, when you say something is relative it has to mean that there is something that is in proportion to something, your learning processes in proportion to what you are learning. The second keyword in the definition is permanent change; for learning to be claimed to have occurred, meaning a change must have occurred and it has to be permanent (this will later lead us to discuss memory after this). And the last key word there is experiences! The moment a child is birthed learning is already activated in them, learning is equal to experiences, and experiences are equal to learning. So it's not until you get to a classroom you start learning, a classroom is just conditioned as a learning environment that can enhance and help your learning!
Drop by next week to learn more.
