You know as a person that you either are a male or female, you know that you are a product of 2 individual adults you know as your parents, you know that you were given birth to on a specific day, you know that you are in school, you know the subjects being taken in class, you know different topics in a different subject, you know the name of your instructors and what they look like physically, you know you siblings by name each and you don't have a problem mixing them up, you have grown to make friends and have come to know each by name.................... Things like this and many more are what make up your Conscious mind.
Your consciousness is your awareness of yourself, memories, feelings, sensations, and environment. The awareness of yourself and your environment is your consciousness. Consciousness is an individualistic and not a collective concept; meaning your consciousness is subjected to you. Your consciousness could start from perception and move to Consciousness but not all perceptions get to the level of becoming part of our conscious thoughts. For things to become part of our consciousness it has to be given attention. So that learning, seeing, perceiving, or being exposed to things doesn't mean those things automatically get to your conscious, not everything you see nor learn of gets to your conscious, for things to get to your conscious you have to pay attention.
After this the unconscious
See you next time!

Right on👍! If you have to be conscious, you have to be attentive.
